Who We Are
The mission of the CUG is to serve as a collaborative forum for Charleston’s preservation, planning, and design communities. We aim to turn discourse into action through media production, community engagement, and tactical urbanism.
Our organization was created when urbanist-inspired students from the College of Charleston’s programs joined students from the American College of the Building Arts to commit our knowledge and resources to the betterment of Charleston. Together, we will bridge the gap between architecture, planning, and preservation to advocate for a superior Charleston.
